Terms Of Trade

TERMS OF TRADE

FREIGHT  Freight will be charged on all orders  (including for repairs or spare parts).

PAYMENT FOR GOODS  Kiwi Custom Stamps Limited requires payment of invoice(s) by the 20th of the month following purchase.  If payment is not made by the due date, Kiwi Custom Stamps Limited has the right to charge interest on the overdue balance.  Kiwi Custom Stamps Limited may suspend delivery of further products until the account is paid.

 

PRODUCT GUARANTEE

Kiwi Custom Stamps Limited stands by the manufacturer’s stated guarantee period.  Where the manufacturer has not stated a guarantee period, Kiwi Custom Stamps Limited provides a 12-month guarantee.  The guarantee covers only defects in materials or workmanship from the date of the first retail purchase.  It does not cover misuse or force or any fault or damage caused by the product being used for any purpose other than its intended use.  In addition, the guarantee does not cover any fault or damage caused by any failure to comply with the relevant operating instructions or user guidelines for the product.  Generally, a defect in materials or workmanship that leads to a genuine guarantee claim will be discovered within the first 90 days of use.  Please do not offer to replace the faulty product for the end-customer under the guarantee until Kiwi Custom Stamps Limited has examined the product and accepted the guarantee claim.

PROPERTY  Property and ownership in products will not pass to you until Kiwi Custom Stamps Limited receives payment in full of the purchase price of the products and all other amounts that you owe to Kiwi Custom Stamps Limited for any reason.

REPAIR SERVICE

If required, Kiwi Custom Stamps Limited can repair almost any product that it has supplied.  Kiwi Custom Stamps Limited does not offer quotes for repairs, as they are generally difficult to estimate accurately.  Please send in the item and we will notify you if the cost prohibits carrying out the repair.  (NB. Products that retail for under $30 are uneconomic to repair, due to handling costs.)  Please send repairs direct to Kiwi Custom Stamps Limited, 14a Blackrock Road, Newlands, Wellington.

RETURNED GOODS

Non-faulty product: Goods returned for credit will not be accepted without prior permission from Kiwi Custom Stamps Limited.  Documentation must be included with the goods returned explaining the circumstances and quoting the invoice number(s).  A handling charge of 15% of the value of the goods returned, or such a sum as may be necessary to indemnify the company against further costs and/or losses, will be made on all returns.

Faulty product: Faulty product must be returned immediately with the fault clearly identified.

Errors and shortages: All claims for errors and shortages must be made within 7 days of receipt of goods.  Invoice numbers must be quoted with such notification.  Shortages advised when payment is due are not acceptable.

Non-standard/modified products: Returns may be considered on the basis of all costs deducted to return the product to stock.
